haha It would have certainly helped. Being in a city garage with a flashlight in my mouth didn’t help things either haha

As I related many times, I dealt with Zunsport because I am a mechanical idiot but some people address me as "doctor". I installed the grills on my 2015 991 GTS and one fell off during the first week. Mr. Langston immediately supplied a substitute that has adhered since my mechanical epiphany.

You sure? Do you have a .2 w/ center grill?

When I visited their website, I was not able to select a center screen for 991.2.

Although, I only tried once. Either not possible, or backordered at the time. IDK.

Additionally, every pic I've seen here of a .2 w/ Rennline grill kit did not have a center screen.

I ordered the Rennline kit which will end up costing me more with installation but IMHO they look more OEM (like my GT4) then the Zunsport.

Not for the 991.2 because they have active air flaps that supposedly close to reduce drag and improve fuel economy under lighter load.

I actually just had mine done on a 991.2 GTS bumper. I went with Rennline and only did the outer air ducts. I left the middle scoops exposed, which I think makes it looks more OEM (991.2 GT3 like). Also the transition from center plastic insert to exposed scope to mesh grill looks less abrupt IMO.

Another benefit is I can still reach in through the exposed scoop to clean stuff that will collect in front of the radiators.

Sorry sir - I have a #1 car. Although I looked it up and AnandN is right:

I bought the center screen for the 991.2 when I ordered my set from Rennline. But I didn't end up using it because I decided to just install the outer air ducts (as pictured above).

I'm looking for screens for a 991.2 Targa GTS and prefer not having to remove the bumper... but the Zunsport site says they don'y have anything for that configuration?? How did you did yours? I just want to do the outer grills.

Thanks!

I would imagine it's the same as my 991.2 C2 GTS.

Thank you DBH! I ordered the outer set you have and they will be here on Thursday (that is FAST) The only remaining concern is whether PDK or sensors create any difficulty as I saw those issues mentioned on their website. In any case... jumping in with both feet.

Are you aware of any install videos for the GTS bumper?

Thanks again,

r

Yes, amazing two day shipment from the UK. USPS takes that long to deliver mail across the street.
PDK has nothing to do with grill install. The only sensors in the area that I'm aware of are on the black plastic trim piece on the outside of the intake (small circle).
There is an install video on the Zunsport website. Basically, place the grill into the outer part of the intake first then maneuver into place toward the center. Once in place, use a screwdriver to secure the clips behind the molding on the car - done. It took me longer to unpack the parts then to install them!

I have a brand new grill protection set from Zunsport for the 991.1 GTS including the center with parking sensors still unopened in the box for sale in the Marketplace if anyone's interested.
