Now, price independent, I'd rather have a 993TT for sure.

I owned a 96 993C2 for along time and drove a 993TT, on track no less... To me it is the most gorgeous car Porsche ever designed (esp. in C4S guise).... but to drive, it's like the interior of an old 70s carrera, very softly sprung, kinda quiet and too smooth in power delivery, with just enough modern tech to go annoyingly wrong (ODB2 lights, immobilizer, squeaks, relays popping)... I loved how that car looked in my garage, but I kid you not, it was the most disappointing porsche I owned in terms of pleasure to drive - the brawn did not match the beauty... I know I'm in the vast minority and I'm cool with that ;-) there's an a$$ for every seat ! As you can tell from my avatar I prefer a true oldie and a true modern. No confusion !

That's the way to do it. I love my base .2 and will be looking for a long hood towards the end of next year.

I saw this rear end in a pic this weekend and have to admit it made me a bit weak in the knees with that little flip spoiler.

That picture is a Singer not a factory Porsche product.

my favorite , the new higher spec from Singer ...all with ( finally ) WIIIIDE bodies and ( finally ) real deal ducktails and signif weight drop to 2150 lbs ...still 964-based but these are built , incl engines , by Williams in England ( vs reg versions built in SoCal ) ...supposedly 75 already pre-ordered at rumored $1+ million each

The workmanship and attention to detail is wonderful to behold.

You are right, but....the price ?

There was a Singer at my shop (slightly earlier model), and I took a long time dissecting everything, outside, inside, even sat in it. I admired the work, but... in person it was somewhat underwhelming vs. on the internet ;-) I was left thinking it looked like a nice longhood RSR clone with a fancier interior, there was no way I'd pay that much for that car... I left in my 72 and thought "hey, original"... You have to have a lot of F$%k-money to justify a Singer IMO...

That latest one with a Williams motor comes closer to making sense in my book, yes it's even more stupid expensive but it's more outrageous and that engine is something else !

My 993 NB, nice but may buy a slate grey 991 instead! The 993 may look a little dated now but that just means that it will come back with full force as a classic! The only way i up!
