Default help avoiding 4 post lift regret

I have 2 Porsche 911s. Im installing a lift to park one above the other. I only need a normal height lift for this function

However, I have the ceiling height to install one of the taller Benpak lifts so I can have the option of parking an SUV under it. its wider and taller so it also has the benefit of being wider to pull into

for $1000 am I crazy not to get the taller lift 'just in case' I want the flexibility?

anyone have post purchase regrets on this same decision?

If you have the space I would pay for the wider/taller one any day of the week

I park my full size F150 crew cab under my lift and love the flexibility. If you have the space don't even give it a second thought. Get the biggest you have room for.

It's like buying a gun safe. Get the biggest one that will fit.

Absolutely get the bigger one. I park a Lexus LX470 under my 911. If I didn't have the taller one, I'd be out of luck. If you have the height, get the tall one.

I wish that we had the space for a lift in our garage. Stupid builder-grade garage ceilings aren't high enough for much of anything. If I were in the market, I'd go for the most my budget would allow for.
