Reggio Emilia, near Bologna (north Italy), the homeland of tortellini, lambrusco, erbazzone, lasagne, tagliatelle, parmigiano reggiano (directly from Reggio Emilia...reggiano...and Parma...parmigiano)...in reggio emilia "tricolore£ (italian flag) was born in 1797
Nicola,
My grandfather and grandmother, now deceased for many, many years, were both from Emilia Romagna, grandfather from Fiumalbo, grandmother from Montecreto, but if you asked my grandmother where she was from, she would say Modena, I believe because Italy became a unified country not long before she was born and later came to the USA. So as far as she was concerned her "country" was the Duchy of Modena. I prefer Modena of course, the home of Ferrari, not to mention the Maserati brothers, De Tomaso, Ducati, and Lamborghini(?).
Ah, totellini! A family delicacy, only on Thanksgiving and Christmas, every one hand folded! The best pasta anywhere.
I haven't been to Italy but it could be in the near future. Ever know any Lenzini's or Lazzaretti's? How does a Lenzini wind up loving Porsches? My mother's side of the family are German! So I'm a hard head and a hot head!
Welcome to the forum!

I'm happy to hear your word.
In Emilia Romagna there are some Lenzini (Bologna, Modena and near), but Lazzaretti is very used also in Reggio Emilia.
I think the broth (beef, hen or capon and vegetables) and tortellini's perfume means exactly FAMILY time.
I really hope you can go in your parent's land in Italy one day's... And in that day I also hope you can eat "tortellini in brodo" closing eyes remembering your family.
Thank you for your reply

^Looks great, Miglio! I really like the 991.2 front bumper and fog light/DRL intergration.
