Porsche North Houston Good Deed of the Day - Harvey Relief Efforts
As most of you know, Hurricane Harvey hit Houston hard in late August with sustained rain and unprecedented flooding. Many of our friends and neighbors are still recovering. The city's reaction to Harvey has shown Houston to be a city where people come together and help one another (no surprise to residents!).
Just wanted to share with this group how Porsche North Houston supported the post Harvey effort today by delivering uniforms to five HISD schools for kids who were impacted by the storm. This went far and above taking care of customers and flooded cars (which they always do), but really supporting the community at a time when it needs it the most.
The HISD kids, school administrators, members of my firm who helped, and District B Houston City Councilman, Jerry Davis, who set up and coordinated the donations were elated.
Pictured in the photo is Gerald Tito and some folks from PNH who drove Cayennes full of clothing around to the schools.
Many thanks to Billy Bennett, Gerald Tito, John Wright (Jwrightpnh), Dan Kao, and the whole gang at PNH for supporting this effort.
Houston Strong!

Now that the news coverage has died down it's too easy to think that situations like this are over and done. It's good to see the support continuing where it is needed.
Nicely done!
