If it's just 1 or 2 chips, Satelite is the way to go. They do great repairs relatively cheap. Beats the cost of a new windshield for sure.

Default Bray Group makes a windshield protection product

It's basically a multi-part system. "Base" which goes directly on the outside of the windshield, and then a film which attaches to the base. Reasonably priced, as well.

This - and installing XPEL film - was the first thing I did when I purchased my new 2015 Cayman S.

Luckily I did this, because less than two hours later an 18 wheeler on a road here in Oregon pulled out from a rocky side area and sprayed rocks all over the front of the car and windshield. Looking at the Bray film, you can see all the rocks that hit. The windshield showed zero damage, and all I had to do was have a tint shop put on the second film, which I had already purchased "just in case".

Since then, I believe they've expanded their product line and have some more advanced options.

Definitely worth looking into.

I'm picking up my new (to me) 911 991.1 next week, and the Bray product will be my first "mod".

Here's their website:

or Clearplex......$225-$250 if you install it yourself......took a rock to the windshield this past weekend and the film seems to have saved me a much larger problem.

or do nothing and replace your oem windshield as you need to ($1250-$1500).
