I had a COV air conditioner failure in my 2014 C2. It presented as working normally with no cold air. I don't see how a failed solenoid could possibly continue to power the A/C, but then again these cars are complicated.

There are a bank of these vacuum operated solenoids. Problem solved. Don't think it's a DIYS as they are buried in the engine compartment.

Yeah, that makes no sense. A COV is a solenoid that controls vacuum lines. Basically a valve that changes vacuum from one line to another. I can't see that being responsible for making fans run while the car is off. Vacuum signals aren't keeping fans running.

Could always be wrong. But doubt it.

Passenger-side footwell, A3, would maybe be enough?

If that doesn't work then here is a link to the online manual's fusebox layout. There are other A/C-related entries in both fuseboxes.

I'm not pretending to be a mechanic with my meager skills on our very expensive and complicated cars. Just reporting that I had a similar issue that was covered by warranty. It is discussed here and fixed with replacement of the part.
