New C4S

No it isn't. Just the angle of the camera making it look tight.
I do have to say that this is the 1st 911 I have had with the 18-way seats. What a huge difference in comfort. I have always felt that after long drives my shoulders and upper back would get stiff with the 14 way seats. These 18 way seats are just fantastic.

First, none of them are better than the other. Just completely subjective and based upon what I want/need in the car.
So, to address your question, which was why the C4S over the C2S 991.2s:
- i am visually and aesthetically drawn to the wide body cars. They just look better to me
- I much prefer the 18-way seats in my C4S vs the 14-way seats that were in my C2S
- I like the slightly heavier steering feel in the C4S. To me, I just feel more connected to the road, surefooted. The C2S is incredible but at times when pushing the car, it feels as if the frontend gets a bit loose.
BTW, the only reason the C4S is ahead of the 991.1 GTS, which was an amazing car, is because, for me and the way I drive 90% of the time, the more easily accessible power of the 991.2 engines is more enjoyable on daily drives.

Fwiw, I love my 3.4 at 6:30 am!

I agree with you about the low-end punch. I’ve had quite a few of these cars and, prior to the 991.2 or a TT/TTS, they were always best on “boil”. All of my Porsches with the exception of my 991.2 generations were manual transmissions for that reason.
I always felt that to get that sports car feel and connection the NA cars always had to be above 4000 RPM.
All were rewarding to drive, but the 3.0 Turbo is just so much more enjoyable in normal driving and the PDK telepathically is always in the correct gear.

For one, I buy a lot of cars and specifically 911s. This is the 3rd car from this particular dealership.
Secondly, I’m a pretty good negotiator. They had, I believe, 8 2017 911s left and another 8 2018 cars, plus a healthy selection of CPO 991.1 and 991.2 cars on hand. The dealer was very motivated to move any of the 2017 leftovers. If the car I bought was an ‘18, my discount would have been no more than 9%.
Finally, I’ve referred business there many times and I have a strong relationship with GSM.

White will never not be a great color on the 911, you just can't go wrong IMO, congrats!
