gbree ... yours could be painted too. Would need to just be sanded a bit for prep. Would need PPF too for chips. With them flexing with install might not be a good idea though. On your car, the black looks great.
The "paintable" version is just a smooth finish I believe. That's it. Same material. Prepped for paint pretty much. I know someone with your version that has them painted on a 4S after the fact and turned out fine.
By the way, the route I took for narrow body skirts as an FYI. Not to distract from this great mod here. Nice job gbree.
15 minutes sounds ambitious but would be welcomed. Do they not need to be molded via heat gun? Any photos of your 15 min install on a narrow body?
The modifications necessary to the skirts with a box cutter take 15 min. You just cut off some plastic tabs. Total install takes a couple hours I guess.
