How are you guys attaching the aftermarket skirts?

The “modifications” necessary to the OEM wide body skirts takes like 15 min with a box cutter

The "paintable" version is just a smooth finish I believe. That's it. Same material. Prepped for paint pretty much. I know someone with your version that has them painted on a 4S after the fact and turned out fine.

By the way, the route I took for narrow body skirts as an FYI. Not to distract from this great mod here. Nice job gbree.

Is STG still on the forum, I’m not able to PM him for some reason.

Just have few questions on his sideskirts. By far the best looking skirts I’ve seen on the C2S

15 minutes sounds ambitious but would be welcomed. Do they not need to be molded via heat gun? Any photos of your 15 min install on a narrow body?

The modifications necessary to the skirts with a box cutter take 15 min. You just cut off some plastic tabs. Total install takes a couple hours I guess.

@polobai did a good job of documenting his install so I didn’t bother doing a write up.

They have been on car for a couple years now still going strong

I went with the Maxton design side skirts.....they match up to the contour of the car perfectly. Under $250 shipped.

they are pre-drilled & use oem mounting points . I will add double side tape along the body line as extra protection.

I can PM you cost but be aware they are pricey lol

At least the Japanese Yen is about 10% down on the USD right now so that saves a couple hundred bucks from last year LOL
