991.1 Cabriolet window question
When the top is down and I have all the windows down, when the door is opened the door window raises about 1/2". I understand that it should go down when the top is up and the windows are up, but why would it need to go up with everything down? Bought the car last fall and it has always done it since I have had it. Is this normal or should I try to retrain the windows somehow?
2nd question: With the top down and all windows are up - if I lower the door window the rear window also goes down. But if I raise then raise the door window the rear window stays down and I have to press the "rear" button first then press the window button again. Is this normal action?
Thanks

As for your first question, I don't know for sure, but my assumption is the window raises a bit so it's better cradled in the window slot at the top of the door. Perhaps this keeps it from rattling inside the door when the door is closed; or, from getting jarred out of the window track?

My 991.1 cabriolet behaves the same way.

I have never had the top down and all the windows up -- in fact I'd like it better if the door windows would stay down after retracting the top ... other than that mine seems to be working the same way...

When you install the Smart Top Module, all (4) windows act in unison, no need to fiddle with the F / R switch. Also, you can put the windows down with your remote - or the windows AND top as you are walking to the car. One of the best aftermarket mods for the cabs that there is.
