My first post on rennlist. I have been a fan of the 911 for a very long time and I finally going to get one.

I have a simple question with probably a difficult answer.

Is rear wheel steering on a 991.2 GTS a necessary option or not? No trackday, only daily driving. I believe on track it is a different matter.
Last week I test drove the 4 GTS with rear wheel steering and I didn't even notice it.

I like the driving experience as simple as possible. I prefer a difficult car over a easy car with all sorts of driving aids. But still, should I get the rear wheel steering or not?

I like it. Makes the car more maneuverable in tight situations

I like it . Tends to make me be a bit more aggressive in turns . Tighter u turns.

I was looking for information on the net and got a link to this forum. I wasn't a member, yet, but got a pop-up at the bottom on the right hand side saying that I could ask a question. When I posed my question, I had to register, so I did and the harm was done.
