Welby Way Elementary School in North Hills, CA. The car was sitting in front of my Aunt's driveway on Kittridge Street.😉

Holy moly, I would have lost a bunch of money on that bet... looks exactly like Sycamore Elementary in Claremont Ca. finish line location of the Claremont 4th of July 5K. Must be my old eyes!

Wow... that's a beauty! That sapphire blue on red two-tone leather interior -- stunning!! Congrats on your new ride!

I'm also in California and find that the front license plate adversely detracts from the beauty of the front of the car. As you stated, it's simply a fix-it ticket for not having a front license plate if you encounter an **** officer. I'd only worry about that aftermarket plate holder as a temporary solution for signing off on the fix-it ticket if you end up getting one. Moreover, the fact you're contemplating it means you probably don't want to have a front plate on your new car at all. I'll bet if you counted 100 late model BMWs, Mercedes, Audis, Porsches around you, more than half of them probably don't have front plates.

I'm up in the SF suburbs of the East Bay and I've never been pulled over for not having a front plate. Never.
But I hear its a totally different situation when in San Francisco itself.
Congrats on your new car.
Gorgeous!

Some good driving roads up there. The other day I saw a picture of seven generations of 911's in front of Alice's Restaurant. Very cool.

Los Angeles is not bad at all but Beverly Hills, North Hollywood and Santa Monica PD's will issue plate citations when they are not busy. In fact, even the meter maids can issue plate violations.

On a happier note, I have an appointment for rear window tinting today. I'm also going to meet with a photo studio to photoshop pictures of the car and it's wheel to try to decide how to put powder coat. I'm leaning toward blue spokes with a red pinstripe around the circumference.

Congratulations on the new car, it is gorgeous.

As far as the license plate is concerned, I live in New Jersey, we also have to have a front license plate. I have not mounted mine as yet and do not plan to. I bought a Skene design holder which I carry in the car. If I get pulled over I will tell the officer I plan on doing it when I get home and I will show it to them. Hopefully that will be enough for a warning.

Here's what the grills look like with the center one in as well. I can't believe Porsche left the radiators so exposed.

and the blue/red...well chosen...

Very nice! Great combination. The center Grill does look good installed. I'm thinking.

Got the rear window tinted today. Looks good. At the moment, however, I'm at the hospital and just became a Great-Uncle. So, I'll have to post a picture of that later.

does your car have that red-tachometer? (I could not see in the pics!)

I want red stitching, but I thought Porsche forced you to take the red tach??!

No red tachometer here. That comes with the GTS Interior package which I personally did not want. Most of the two tone leather interiors come with contrasting stitching so I have red stitching on the dash and doors. With the leather interior, you can order the gauges and chrono in various colors if you like.
