Current prices for PSMP
Does anybody have recent information on what dealers currently charge for the scheduled maintenance plan for a 991.2 GTS?
How much of a discount are folks able to get on these? Particularly interested in info from people in PNW (Seattle) and other areas where dealers aren't likely to budge all that much.
In previous years, it seemed that the 4 year was the best value (I guess that's +3 now that 2018s have 1 year included). Is that still the case?
Thanks in advance!

What little experience I have with this, and only from reading about it on Rennlist, the only advantage was the owner can roll the PSMP into their loan or lease. It seemed to me, that there was zero costs savings, and you are paying in advance, which seems silly to me.

I paid $2025 for a two year maintenance plan, which I personally think is high. It is basically a way for the Finance Manager at the dealership to make a little money, in addition to the dealership. In return, I received a heavily discounted rate on an Xpel Deluxe Paint Protection Film. In California, Pre-paid maintenance contracts and extended warranties are refundable (often pro-rated by miles and length of ownership). I have always received refunds on these products and never had an issue until recently. Porsche Cars North America (Atlanta) deleted the fax number and deleted the address online for PSMP Refunds. They are basically making it extremely difficult to get a refund. I am sure it makes their accounting difficult and they need every penny to help pay for the VW Diesel Scandal.
Basically, I will not ever purchase PSMP again. It is close to impossible to refund even though it is State Law in California. It is overpriced, especially since 2018 MY comes with the first service complimentary.
DO NOT BUY PSMP!

The Porsche pricing does not appear to make good sense. My Audi one was about $800 for four years following the free 5k mile one. One of those had $600 of fluid changes (RS5).
for the 911, I had a $299 first service at the dealer and it's indy from now on.

I’m coming up on a year and a half with my 2018 GTS which I absolutely love...performance mods make it a beast. The only maintenance costs I’ve accrued was an unscheduled oil change at 1,000 miles that I did myself at a cost of well under 100 bucks. Then, after one year Porsche gave me a freebie oil change. The next one will be due next Nov which I will do myself as well. Granted, I have just 3k miles on the car. If it was driven more I might have a different perspective, but at this point I’d say prepaid maintenance on a new 911 is not a good value.
