One my first mods after I read the horror stories about objects causing damage from the inside!

I got mine in late 2013 or early 2014 directly from Das Sheild. It came with a little bottle of protectant. That's why I asked.

Ordered my Lid Liner yesterday for the same reason. Looking at the potential damage from the inside, I ordered. Can't believe Porsche wouldn't include this. For safety so far I have Installed: Full PPF, Front air intake grills, and now this lid liner. The PPF has already saved me once with a jackass opening his F150 door on my passenger side mirror. Thankfully the paint was not damaged. The PPF was ripped and had to be reinstalled for $15 plus $5 tip.

Just got it for my 991.2 C2S. Fits perfectly. Quality and finish is worthy of our beloved 911's. Took all of 30 seconds to install. Expected a thin flabby plastic liner, got a high quality rigid matte finish plastic liner with strips of impact absorbent foam liners to protect frunk lid from rubbing against each other.

Great to hear! I just received mine yesterday but haven't opened up package yet.

I had been wavering on this purchase as well, but the discount made the decision easier – thanks for the code!
I had one on my previously owned Cayman and I did worry less about putting things in the f/trunk. The price is a bit much for a piece of plastic, but it's like paying for insurance I guess.
Now should I get the cargo area liner as well

I installed a Hood Liner in my 2016 Turbo Cab and the fit and finish is very good. Though I am very careful of how I pack the "Frunk" I see this as a worthwhile insurance investment.
I also bought the "Frunk" liner "bin" from Suncoast and I am very disappointed with it. Not only does it bevel in from top to bottom eating up usable space it actually takes away real-estate from all four sides!
This car will be used for cross country travels and yearly trips to Florida. Seeing that my wife and I are experts at fitting most of our needs into a few carry ons with the bin installed only one carry on fits. With out the bin I can stack two loaded carry ones in the Frunk with out any problems. Of coarse we can use the back seat open or closed but I rather store my luggage up front.
II talked to Sun Coast about this and they had no idea about "space usage" but are wiling to give me a refund minus a 25% restocking fee plus shipment. I am trying to negotiate these fees.

This might be a model/option specific issue. My bin fits perfectly snug in my C2.
