I got the GTS alcantara book 5 months after buying a heavily optioned S with the Sport Design Package that includes a bumper cover that is begging for radiator protection. Zunsport is checking to see if they can make a protector. If anyone is interested I will post their response.

I started getting select versions of these model-specific fluff pieces with the 997.1 GT3 I think. I know I got the 987 Boxster Spyder and the Cayman R; seems like I got one when the 991 Targa was released. The only one I kept was the 987 Spyder book, for some reason. I never owned one of those.

I did just buy the GT4 book off eBay.

I got the Targa book a couple years ago but got something else after I bought my GTS. A package with a book of OEM options, a book with Porsche history in it, and nice pen but no GTS specific book yet.

Just received one in my mailbox. I have no need for it. If anyone wants it for a collectors piece, it is unopened and sealed in plastic. I will let it go to anyone who wants it for shipping. If interested, PM me. BTW, shipping will be two day UPS and cost is $15.

No longer available, found a new home with a GTS owner.

Mine came as a consolation (or condolence) award at least from my perspective. I configured a GT2RS and was literally laughed at as I contacted various dealers with my configuration code. One dealership said they would put me in the back of a very long list with my $20,000 deposit. GTS is no GT2RS but the book is very nice none the less! (sad but true> swag)

Why have I not received one ? Put order in Early May and the damn car has been sitting in Rhode Island since July 5th !!! So annoyed w Porsche
