"New" 17 GTS PTS Birch Green
#47
Picked up my "new" GTS, with a couple of minor nits- and one nice surprise. The previous owner put 175 miles and in that time managed to curb both drivers side wheels. Front which had the majority was refinished flawlessly the rear wheel which was very minor was "touched up" not refinished. I decided to live with it as it's on the edge and roughly a quarter of an inch. The only other nit is a tiny cut in the paint on the lower front wheel well, honestly looks like it may have occurred when the shipping covering was removed. Again super small and these are cars after all. The nice surprise- the previous owner purchased pre paid maintenance a terrific and an unexpected gift!
On to a couple of quick pics - I'll take better over the weekend!

Update - dropped DD with my favorite shop for paint correction, front end PPF including mirrors and rear haunches. Nano coat every surface ( paint, glass and wheels) window tint 35 percent side glass and 20 percent rear. Finally adding satin black stone guard to be placed on top of the current clear stone guard. I'll update with progress shots!

Oh and on my way to the shop wouldn't you know it a big gravel truck with an unsecured load was spilling gravel all over the interstate ! I don't know how but I managed to avoid any blemish - phew!

My shop sent me this last night. They have completed the paint correction, PPF, Opti and window tint. They also added a custom stripe ( easily removable if desired) and I think I like the effect.

WOW! Excellent color choice! Certainly an attention getting paint option.

While I am not usually a fan of stone guards, I really like what they've done. Integrating it into the stripe is a nice effect. It also breaks up the side of the car. Beautiful color and even better with the stripe.
