Saturday 12 August 2017 –PorscheFest Drive and Dine Adventure to Summit Point!
We will leave from Manassas, VA around 9:30 am on Saturday 8/12 and hit the back roads of the Loudoun County and Appalachia for a brisk but scenic run to Summit Point. We will arrive around noontime for charity laps around the track (FUN FUN FUN), enjoy box lunches (or pack your own picnic basket), and experience the sights, smells and sounds of Summit Point Raceway, capped off by Happy Hour and live music after the track goes cold, and finally a BBQ dinner, where you can mingle with the DE group, Autocross, and other fabulous PCA people. In fact, if you are doing Autocross on Sunday, why not come on up as part of our Drive and Dine? You can stay over Saturday night in one of the many hotels in nearby Winchester, Charlestown, and Martinsburg or in a quaint inn in Summit Point itself. There are separate fees for Charity Laps, box lunch and the HH/BBQ. One T-shirt is included per charity lap entrant but you can also purchase additional shirts. I have never done AX. Maybe sometime I'll get into it. I should go to one sometime to watch.
