I put temporary decals on for driving events to promote my Firm, but I have them installed a few days before the event and remove them a few days after. Obligatory pictures:

Promote your firm. Right. Never hurts that you get to run the costs of the event through the firm as "Promotion". I never minded decaling my cars up with my firm name then taking a couple pictures at the "event" to throw in the file just in case. Every little bit helps.

You might even talk to "the firm" about an annual sponsorship where they even get their name on the new tires they buy!

How many Jaeger bombs did you do before putting on those decals?

If you like it, do it. Don't worry about other people's opinion IMHO.

It's better to do it now than wondering about it for the rest of the life

Personally, I would do it since the decals kind of matches the color of the car (orange to my eyes) and no sane people would ever do it outside race track (be different). Maybe try the decals for a few weeks? It's removable anyway.

Every little bit helps? Helps what? Not sure I completely understand that context or the point of your post (if you mean something more than just posting your thoughts online); however, what's wrong with promoting one's business. I have met tons of great guys at the events I attended and the car is actually a subject of conversation to some. Quite a number of successful business men and women attend these events which makes for good promotion. Did you actually decal your car with your Firm name and put pictures in the file or was that comment intended as sarcasm?
