991.2 Turbo discount
Any sense of how much people are actually getting off of MSRP on ordered cars?

I got 6.5% off when I ordered my Turbo S in February. Just took delivery last week. My local dealer at the time wouldn't budge from MSRP, so I went out of state.

I have been reading about 4-20% depending on TT vs TTS, options, and inventory versus spec.
Either way looks like at least 6% is the going rate.

First I'm reading of 20% off.

to clarify, 20% was on a previous model year TTS cab in stock with heavy options.

I would take the Porsche over the McLaren any day.

7% for me. I'd imagine 10% is doable, especially for a car that's been lingering on the lot with heavy options.

7% on an ordered car. Maybe 8 or 9 if try really hard, and are in a geographically friendly region, esp. if you load up on options.
10-15% is not unheard of for a car on the lot.

Was it you who said you'd stay away from the GT2RS bc it's called the widowmaker? You would pass over a McLaren P1?

Didn't intend on Porsche versus McLaren. Very different and great in their own ways. My McLaren exposure left a strong impression.

5% off MSRP from NJ dealership for a July build slot. Not too many allocations around here for a 991.2 TTS. Contacted about 6-7 dealerships around NY/NJ/CT and only two would entertain a discount. One was for 5% and the other was offering 3%

So far I have 7% on a 2017 car and 6% on a 2018 car.
