Focal/ JL Audio/ HRE/ Speed mods...
A few mod's to my 2016 Porsche Turbo.
Special thanks to Detailing Dynamics in Mineola NY for the performance and audio. Eddie and Matty run a fantastic operation. I live over 90 miles away and only trust them to work on my cars.
Wheels Boutiques for the Wheel and Tire setup.
HRE wheels for another fantastic set of wheels.
Now for the hardware-
Sound- Complete re-haul of the terrible Bose System. Detailing Dynamics suggested Focal and JL Audio. They replaced center channel, all doors with separates. We left the rear speakers in for rear fill. I may in the future swap those out, but for now, they work great. 10" JL Audio sub in the rear deck. We have 2 amplifiers completed hidden in the frunk and a DSP under the passenger seat.
The folks are Detailing Dynamics have tweaked the system to the music I listen to. Pics to come soon.
I did also add front and rear cameras along with a complete Bel Tronics/ ALP radar system.
Performance- On my 2014, I chose the popular Cobb/ Kline setup. This time around, I went with a Giac tune and GMG exhaust. Love this setup. I did add the diverters, but no y-pipe this time.
Wheels and Tires- HRE P201 in brushed clear gold on Pirelli tires.
My understanding is these are the first set of the P201's in a centerlock configuration made for the Porsche cars. This setup really pops and is an eye opener which I absolutely love. Thanks to Ben @ Wheels for directing me in this direction.
Suspension is from H & R Springs. I may in the future do a KW setup.
On to some pictures-

Nice mods. I love the wheel color. Are those 22" wheels, or do they just seem huge because of the design?

Sweet ride!. I'm a huge fan of HRE's as well.
Please take a lot of pics of the Audio set up. Not a lot of space, curious how they mounted the 10" JL's (although, I suppose you have plenty of hatch versus a cabrio).

Gold is the new black! I just put a set of satin gold Vossen's on my Turbo S.

Rich- THe AMG was very nice, but I just could not find a way to love it. It felt disconnected at times, especially in turns. The acceleration is quite good, similiar to the turbos. One thing I do love about the AMG's are the exhaust sounds. They have Porsche beat on that, hands down. Even if you go catless or with cat's any exhaust manufacturer, You just cant replicate that AMG sound.

Beautiful interior and nice exhaust note for the AMG but that's about it for me. The turbo S is in a different universe.
And I am no AMG hater. My daily is a renntech tuned E63 S AMG sedan. Absolutely adore that car. The GTS however is a poor excuse for a sports car. Looks like one bit does not handle like one.

I took my friend's AMG GTS down Tail of the Dragon and hated it. Lousy in the twisties compared to Turbo S. Trucklike heavy steering accompanied by zero Road feel. The long high hood makes it very difficult to see the edge of the road. And the handling was sloppy on the twisties and imprecise. And when you come out of the corners don't think you're going to be throwing the Excelerator as the traction control light will come on and start cutting your power.

Agreed on most counts. I think if the car was priced in the high 80k-95k, it would be a hit at that price point, but pushing $140K+, you cant compete with the Turbo's
