Default stereo?????

hello guys/gals, i have a 2015 TTS with the bose system in it. what is the very best audio format that the PCM will play. it has the jukebox, aux, usb and cd

thoughts?

I'm guessing here, but I think the CD option is probably the best quality. It's not compressed like the other sources.

This and CD would be same quality. Tidal offers streaming at CD (uncompressed) quality with lossless compression and is the best way to go because you get the convenience and huge song library of a streaming service with the ultimate sound quality of the CD.

Convenient yes but "the ultimate sound quality of the CD"? CD is Ok but high resolution digital audio completely surpasses it. And don't go by those "I'm 50+ years old and can't hear high frequencies anyway" arguments. Try it for yourself.

So you're saying there are better services than Tidal?

I am thinking Qobuz but it isn't available in the US.
