Default Trade/resale value of 2016 turbo S

Any real #'s for a 2016 turbo S? 7000 miles. Agate grey and black. Got some trade #'s at dealers but wondering if I can make up tax credit and more selling myself?

You should list it here and on Autotrader.

I've had luck selling all my previous cars myself. However sometimes you need to be patient.

I can do that but was wondering what value should be?

On trade was offered $162,000 vs a Bentley bentayga (deeply discounted from $261k to $210k and still not sure I won't get killed in 6-8 months) and $150k from most others. Think that's a little low.

What's MSRP?

Options on window sticker?

Those things might help us provide a good estimate of resale.

$190,000 msrp

burmester
sunroof
sport steering wheel

fairly basic but has most everything needed.

Msrp is usually irrelevant from one to the next since we don't get much back for most options.

I think $150K is a good offer from a dealership, after all the 991.2 version is out now. GLWS though.

Typically dealers want to make at least a 6% spread on the higher end cars....so u have to take a look at current listings for a comparable 2016 Turbo S....figure out what the real selling price they will get will be....(4-5% off asking price), then take 6-7% off of that to determine your trade-in value....around a 8-10% spread from the asking price out there to the value you'll get yourself on trade in.

you will have extra wiggle room if you're buying a higher end car and they're making money on that one too (Bentayga....)

They are selling you a BRAND NEW model for $50K off, uh yes, you're going to take a beating.

Thanks guys. Forget the bentayga. Nice vehicle but I'd get killed on resale. Not gonna happen.

Probably gonna order another TTS 2018. Although was given an extra couple percent off if I order a 17 (last slot before 18's). I think depreciation worth more than 2% though.

If you do decide to get Bentley - lease it for sure - best way to go - decent residuals and big discounts up front keep payments similar to a TTS or PTTS.

$162k was a good trade offer fora trade, suggestion they had more to give in the Bentley

I would wait for 2018 versus 2017.

I'm not doing the bentayga. I got 60k off in the end and even then, I'd take a massive hit. Seems like $150k is the real # on my car trade value. Not sure of retail or if selling on my own is worth the tax credit difference of $9k as well making it $159k on trade.

My sense is if you sell this privately you will probably get $162-165k privately. I don't think you would get more because people would want a CPO above that.

Might be worth asking on my own then. $159,000 is my after trade in tax credit net. Is it worth it for me to list, show and deal wth all that is involved? Never know.

Nice build. My key suggestion would be to paint the side skirts and rear, bottom fascia to match paint color. I feel like the car is incomplete without them painted.

Here's pics of mine for reference on a few points called out above: https://rennlist.com/forums/991/8991...on-in-132.html
