Agonizing WAY too much over suspension - please post
I am agonizing WAY to much over lowering my 991.1 TTS and getting wheels....its nuts!. Would all of us on the board enjoy seeing some photos of other's 991.1 or .2 lowered and what they used to do it and the drop achieved? I would really like to hear from some one who had a BAD experience and why - without of course slamming a vendor or product. I know it looks great, handles better but concerned about ride comfort and overall luxury. Maybe my 993TT which is lowered with PSS10 is enough to satisfy my itch - but it sure does look cool on the 991 TT/ TTS...

Thanks Dennis...it is a Canadian heritage car so to us Canadian Porsche lovers...a rare bird indeed. Hard back sport seats with crests, red belts, original radio...all original save for clear corners and suspension. I must admit I do rather like it.

The ride was very similar is to stock, H&R is a linear spring and settles lower then GMG. GMG is a progressive spring and the ride is firmer when driving the car harder.
Lowered on H&R springs, 20x12 and 20x9, 305 rears and 245 front.

I went with Techart springs this time, and like them on the street much better than the H&R I had on my 2014. On track, they feel slightly softer, which I like on curbing. They have never once rubbed, unlike the H&R. Do they offer the same luxury ride as stock...no, but it's not much harsher, and I don't have any issues with the car around town. Wheels are HRE P101 in OEM sizes, with Cup2 tires in OEM sizes also.

While I agree the look is much better dropped a bit, be VERY careful driving with a deployed spoiler on a lowered car.
They are very fragile and replacing 1- 991 Turbo (S) spoiler will cost you the same as ~20- 997.1 & 997.2 GT3(RS) spoilers.

True. The spoiler is for on track or parked at Cars & Coffee only.

Lowered Turbos look very good, though. I'll probably get the front lift so that I can lower the car without issues.
