Default Picked up my 991.2 TS from Champion

I ordered my 991.2 Turbo S from Champion in March and it arrived early June. I flew down 6 weeks ago and picked it up. Sorry it took so long to post up.

I attached my build sheet beneath the pics (safe to open the pdf - not a virus). I went heavy on extended leather, alcantara and contrast stitching. I'm not a carbon fan, although I did warm up to it in my 2016 TS.

The pictures on my camera phone do not do the color justice, and those who are familiar with Carmine Red can attest to how it changes color in different lighting and angles. It was overcast and raining before I picked it up. Thankfully the roads dried up soon afterwards so I could enjoy it.

First impressions after owning a 2011 Turbo w/full Champion 9sec tune/bolt ons, and a 2016 Turbo S:
  1. Definitely quicker than stock 2016 TS. It is easy to notice, and I drove them back to back.
  2. Rides a bit nicer. Could be newness, but I don't think so. I had under 2k miles on my 2016
  3. PCM is much much better
  4. The steering wheel, mult-function buttons, and mode **** are huge improvements. I was surprised by how much.
  5. Carmine Red was worth the premium. I had a CTTS in Carmine and it's my favorite solid red on any car.
  6. Anti-lag works and works well. The way this thing builds power is amazing considering it has no tune. It is more aggressive than a stock .1
  7. Steering feels sharper. I was surprised by this. Must be the red.

Car connect is cool too. Makes me more inclined to Valet Park knowing the status, speed, and location of my car.

Thad Jones took care of me and I recommend him. Straight shooter and easy to work with. It was good to meet Shiraaz from CMS and I got to see the Carbon Wing they developed in person as well as listen to the Tubi Race exhaust on a .2. The wing is the ******. Gorgeous. The exhaust sounded wicked in person too, but a bit louder with no cats. I haven't heard a catless exhaust on a .1 in person yet, so I can't compare. WAAAAAAAAYY louder than my 997.2 3.5" catless/mufflerless exhaust. I know most people are happy they made the DFI engine louder in the 991's vs. the 997.2, but I miss the low key exhaust of my 997.2. It has me rethinking exhausts/modding my 991.2. At least it's slowed me down...until I get used to it and get a ride in a modded 991.

Stunning. Love the CR. Did you consider going with red contrast stitching inside?

Is the wind diffuser thing for buffeting stock on .2 or did you add that?

Congrats dude! Looks amazing! You weren't kidding when you said my build is very similar! I'll be coming back to this thread to help bide the time. Please continue to post some pics (would love a shot straight on from the rear. Want to see the painted fascia in it's full glory. Btw - your photos just made reach back out to my CA to see if it's too late to add extended leather on the dash to my build. And maybe dials in BR....

$4780 option. Not worth it IMO (and in Stage's).

That is stock. The only thing aftermarket on my car is the full front Suntek film.
