After breaking in your new car, go do a launch start, then the stitching will never cross your mind again

Great looking car. Looks lighter in the picture than agate gray. I have the same color combo, but in a 2015 TTS. You'll love it.

If the stitching is there, you can easily change color and it will look exactly like the factory option. I quick search on YouTube and you'll see how it's done. I ordered the exterior same color option as you did and built it with some yellow deviated stitching, which makes the interior, IMO. That said, you can create the deviated stitching yourself and have exactly what you want!

This guy shows you exactly how to do it; go to about halfway through the video to see how it's done and how easy it is!

In any case, she's stunning! Enjoy!

Smart idea, but probably wouldn't work for OP as the original threading is black.

Congrats baus! How much of a concession did you receive if you don't mind me asking?

Also - did you determine the root of the error? Dealer or factory?

I am afraid I will never find out the truth... based on what I heard I would go with dealer, but honestly I do not care anymore, the car is just too perfect!
