Are 991.1 TTS "fun" to drive?

Fix the exhaust (I went with Sharkwerks) and it's loads of fun. If you don't find it exciting, then just put bicycle tires on it and try driving it harder. I don't belong to the camp that says a car must have flaws or weaknesses to be fun to drive.

I daily drove a turbo for years. Now alternate between a McLaren and a tesla model S. The price of very low mileage mp4-12c's is so low that I couldn't make myself pay 40k more for a new 991tts. The McLaren rides sig better than the TTS. Very little interior storage and a Turbo sized frunk may make it impractical for you if you need the back seats for storage or small children.

Thanks for all the input! Very helpful. Yes, I do need some practicality in a car so the back seat is a big plus even if it is deminimus. I went to test drive a McLaren a few years back and I found entry over the high sill of the carbon tub and the tiny foot well not for me. This will be a DD - at some point will add a true 2 seater for a fun weekender.

That's why 911 is the ultimate dad-mobile - anyone under 4ft tall fits very well. In fact, my 5' 4" 110lbs wife would fit ok-ish with me in the front (5'9") in 991 but not in 997.
