Certainly an original set up with that purple wrap! Quite striking. Not a fan of the Akra rear valance and pipes though. Why Akra can't make a system that can use the stock tips is a worry. Re the wheels: HRE make some great looking wheels for the 991tt but wow those definitely aren't one of them. You could learn to live with the quirky look of that rear valance and pipes but by god those wheels are a complete fashion disaster...the worst I have ever seen on the 991tt body. I mean just why??? I guess as a shock and awe?

Aka titanium tips > OE Porsche tips Wheels were a customer choice for something different.

Not sure what you mean there? Are you saying the akra tips are better performing over the stock tips or something?

Re the wheels. Fair enough...to each their own. Looks are certainly "subjective" as they say.

Akra tips, in our opinion look better because of the gorgeous heated titanium byproduct after a few miles...the Akra tips are also often, if not always, lighter than the OE tips.

So do they make the dual round ones for the new tts as shown in your pic? Or are we stuck with only the option of the quirky single large ovals with the small dia drinking straw visible in the center..as shown in the pic of the purple car?

For now, it's the oval tips for the 991 Turbo.

That's a bummer then.

Also wondered why Akra can't make a system with a 100 cat that doesn't throw cels?

Many of us like the cat option but may not necessary wish to dial out cels, and the only option in doing so being the purchase of an AM tune.
