Auto Start/Stop & Top Down View when in Reverse
Is there a way to disable the Auto Start/Stop when you the car is started automatically? I turn it off because the traffic can get bad. I don't want my car constantly stopping and starting.
Also, on my brother's 2016 Cayenne GTS, when he reverses, besides the usual rear view camera, there is a top down image of the car on the left of the screen, which conveniently also shows the parking lines (it looks like it's photo stitched together somehow). I'm thinking maybe it's only available for the Cayenne because its a bigger vehicle.
Is this view available on the 991 TT, I have front and rear sensors with rear view camera installed from the factory.

Sadly you need to disable the start/stop every time either by clicking its button or by switching to Sport mode.
It's the most useless feature followed by PCM's dumb SatNav.
As for the reverse, that's what you get in a 991. The Cayenne is different, I guess.

They should make it at least configurable in the settings so we don't have to toggle it every time though.

Interesting ... My auto start/stop button stays on and I have never witnessed the car stop automatically and don't really want to. Actually I wish the Sport button would also stay on but it does not. Not sure who's software is newer or maybe different by region?

You mean when you start the car up, the Auto Start/Stop light is on by default?

I think this was discussed before. What I recall is that cars built for the US market remember the state of the button across ignition key cycles but in other parts of the world it seems like that isn't the case.
