Sharkwerk vs pse

Hi guy,

Upgrading a 991 cab with pse to a 991 turbo, all I want to know is if Sharkwerk exhaust is equal or better sounding from the INSIDE compared to the 991 PSE.

Thanks in advance.

Well I do think overall NA cars are always going to sound better than a turbo car but I think our set up on the turbo gives it a nice snarl, aggro sound if/when you want. Otherwise it's fairly tame during cruising;)

All I know is the Sharkwerks sounds great all the time. Didn't compare anything else, because Sharky knows his stuff.

I like my Sharkwerks exhaust on my TT but the PSE on the C2S sounds more aggressive.

I put sharkwerks on my TT. It's louder, the off throttle burbles/backfires are really awesome compared to stock. However, I don't really care for the way it changed the sound otherwise; it raised the pitch on throttle and sounds odd. I feel like one of those Honda Civic fanboys with a louder whiny exhaust. Sound is a personal preference, but if there was a way to keep the base stock sound and increase the off throttle burbles I would be thrilled. But it was reasonably priced to purchase and have installed. They are nice guys too.

I do miss the snarl of my C2S with Sport exhaust sometimes.

I have Sharkwerks exhaust and really like it. My neighbor has a 991 Turbo as well and is jealous of the sound...

There's just no way to make a TT sound like a Carrera/GTS/NA car. I've gone crazy looking.

I'd pay whatever if it was possible. Its the only downside to the whole car.

I've had louder N/A p-cars, but I actually love the sound my stock Turbo S makes.

I'm in same situation, love the sound of the stock TTS and when on the gas it gets pretty loud IMO. But since I drive mine mostly with top down it's going to sound a lot louder than a coupe. So I'm torn about going AM route with exhaust. Wish I could do a try and buy for a month:-)

In my case the SW eliminated the VERY annoying hwy drone I had with the stock exhaust, PLUS gave it a slightly more aggressive sound. Double bonus!!
Top down is a non issue, especially for anyone contemplating an AM system. Now if you went cat-less with by-pass pipes that might get tiresome in a Cab.. ;)

Speak to Alex at SW, if for any reason you don't like the product he'll refund 100% less ship cost. What have you got to lose?
