Sharkwerk vs pse
Hi guy,
Upgrading a 991 cab with pse to a 991 turbo, all I want to know is if Sharkwerk exhaust is equal or better sounding from the INSIDE compared to the 991 PSE.
Thanks in advance.

Well I do think overall NA cars are always going to sound better than a turbo car but I think our set up on the turbo gives it a nice snarl, aggro sound if/when you want. Otherwise it's fairly tame during cruising

I put sharkwerks on my TT. It's louder, the off throttle burbles/backfires are really awesome compared to stock. However, I don't really care for the way it changed the sound otherwise; it raised the pitch on throttle and sounds odd. I feel like one of those Honda Civic fanboys with a louder whiny exhaust. Sound is a personal preference, but if there was a way to keep the base stock sound and increase the off throttle burbles I would be thrilled. But it was reasonably priced to purchase and have installed. They are nice guys too.

I do miss the snarl of my C2S with Sport exhaust sometimes.

There's just no way to make a TT sound like a Carrera/GTS/NA car. I've gone crazy looking.
I'd pay whatever if it was possible. Its the only downside to the whole car.

I'm in same situation, love the sound of the stock TTS and when on the gas it gets pretty loud IMO. But since I drive mine mostly with top down it's going to sound a lot louder than a coupe. So I'm torn about going AM route with exhaust. Wish I could do a try and buy for a month:-)

Top down is a non issue, especially for anyone contemplating an AM system. Now if you went cat-less with by-pass pipes that might get tiresome in a Cab..
Speak to Alex at SW, if for any reason you don't like the product he'll refund 100% less ship cost. What have you got to lose?
