991 Targa Turbo Anyone ?!
Let's start by agreeing that the 991 Turbo is probably the prettiest and sexiest water cooled 911. The car has delivered on its promise of giving a middle line between a coupe and a convertible, and the stainless steel pillar and the targa roof mechanism are just gorgeous! BUT Porsche has decided not to put twin turbos in this model, and that's a bummer. However the solution comes from Porsche tuner RUF. The Turbo Florio is a 621 hp twin turbo beast based on a 991 Targa.

Looks are highly subjective. I don't like the Targa; never have since way back, but if it's what you love, then that's all that counts.
So, I don't agree with your "let's all agree" statement.

Obviously looks are subjective and the "let's agree" is an exaggeration to make a point that I strongly believe in, but then again the post was to share thoughts on the Turbo Florio.

Price unknown
It says nowhere online how much the car costs. You'd have to factor in the price of the donor Targa and add the RUF performance goodies. If it's close to TTS territory then its a bargain, as you are getting more performance and (in my opinion) better looks. Anyways this car is an instant collectible and prices will appreciate with time.

I would have been very interested in a Turbo Targa if the style was like the Corvette painted removable panel, meaning it is body colored without the huge aluminum band like the 911 Targa has, and when the panel is in it looks like a regular 911 TTS Coupe. i would not even have cared if it was power or not.
I'm sure the Ruf car is nice, but I like the regular 991 Turbo style better.

I was about to say those wheels look like RUF's, then I see indeed it is a RUF!
There is a picture of a Turbo Targa that Porsche released, don't know if it was a mess-up'ed leaked photo or if Porsche intended to leak the photo on purpose?
PS, I wouldn't mind having a classic Targa in good form but this new one and how the top is added and subtracted seems kind of Over-Kill Engineering on Porsche's part.
But I will say I like RUF's approach to the turbo inlet. For it preserves the front lines of the quarter panel, makes it look similar to the 993 Turbo (Non S) of course!
