Kidding aside, if you have something else to drive, why not?
LOL... OK! But there's also an F150 4x4 or an AWD GS350 F-Sport to choose from.

Plus, absence makes the heart grow fonder! (At least that's what I keep telling myself when the P car gets parked each winter...!)

Year round w/ snows in Chicagoland. If it's very deep I take the S6, but hate every minute of it.

I just drive my new 2015 TTS with 90 miles on it home in the pouring rain from the detail shop. Good thing these damn cars don't melt. Ha.

I am putting the Michelin Pilot Alpin 4s on my 991 TTS and intend to drive it in the winter unless tons of deep snow.

I would be going through terrible withdrawals if I had to put my turbo or GT3 RS away for the winter. I get upset if we get an hour of rain here in San Diego and I can't take them out.

Took the opportunity to put some miles on the gt3 lately due to chicago's mild winter so far! But it will be away for the winter when back from California. One day I'll move back to Northern California and drive gt3 everyday unless we're in Tahoe!

Florida:

No state i come tax
No front license plate
2nd Amendment State
Castle Amendment State
No snow or below 32 deg weather (space coast area)
Low sales tax
Low property tax
Mostly 70 MPH with + 9 MPH leeway
Houses in this area with waterfront less than $250K

Got to LOVE Florida

Ok, not everything is perfect based on who got the last electoral votes, lol

Yup, we on the coast are just a hair above sea level BUT we have the beautiful ocean and the intercostal water ways with gorgeous views. Some of my rides along the waterways make up for the curvy roads.

The only real curves in FL ,,, well,, you know, are in the nice clubs I hear!! lol

I thought the PCM had to remain powered up at all times or you lose data in the volatile memory and the car won't start. Is this still the case for the 991 series cars?

When my 996 was disconnected I had to spend $100 to refresh the system. The Dealer told me the 991 will refresh itself and no need to plug that gizmo in to clear the faults.

Yes the nicest curves in Florida are indeed in the clubs. LOL. Family has lived in Florida since the 1960s so I am there quite a lot.
