So, the TTS places third behind the Alfa Romeo and the Z28.
I already knew that there was no way that MT would let Porsche have a three-peat, but we all know what the best Driver's car really is.

Their is no way a Camaro or basic AR compares with a 911 Turbo S.The Turbo S did excellent, esp running the same time as the very bad *** track GTR Nismo..
Yes,MT can no give the Germans three years in a row.It is all good that they support a American Car....
Were was the drag race ?????

Interesting that they said that the 911 "had a broader range of capabilities" and called the Z/28 a "focused track car", then gave it to the Z/28 when their entire test is designed to find a car that is great on both the road and the track.

12C's have 2 additional cylinders, and, when new, were even more expensive than TTS's. So 1s more is not bad at all. Plus, Porsches have an established track record of reliability. The Mac's still need some more time on that front. So overall a good time for a daily driver such as the 991. TTS.
Disclaimer: I do like the 12C, a lot, and if it is proven to be reliable for daily use, might favor that car over another Porsche when time comes to upgrade my 997.2 TT. The stealth factor, however, favors Porsches, especially for daily use.

Crazy, a thinly-disguised track car with semi-slicks and no air conditioning wins.
Oops, on Randy's way home from the track, he's caught in a blinding rainstorm. It's 95 degrees, 98% humidity. Randy's pretty sure there's a road there, somewhere, under those massive track tires, but he'll be darned if the Camaro knows where it is. Now which car wins the "best driver's car" contest?

No question that Randy's very positive comments about the TTS's power delivery, dynamic capabilities, including the brakes and overall impression make it the best car among those reviewed, despite whatever conclusion MT drew. It certainly is the most highly evolved car and the price reflects that point. His comments about the Jag being a handful were interesting. The Z28 seems like the best dollar value for track work, but don't plan to use it much on the street unless it is warm and dry and even then I suspect it would become a chore to use for even short trips. The TTS just does everything very well, which is incongruous for the reviewers who seem to want a car to be focused on just one primary use. I suggest that they throw in a run at LS with an Audi S8 and a Macan T for a bit more perspective on real world capabilities.
