I would get a very good radar detector.

^...and I believe 458 as well hehe. But on the color OP, I'm personally not up to it. Sorry. I do like it as a showroom piece but so far as own it she's way too much of a showstopper for my personality. But if you like it that's all that really matters. TTS is a great car though. That one I can attest to.

No problem. No need to apologize. It's not your car. Lots of silver and black ones out there. Like I said in previous posts, most Porsche buyers are conservative. Nothing wrong with that. When you own as many cars as I do an go through them quickly, you quickly realize the keepers are the different cars, not the boring mainstream ones. Everyone is different. I am not the majority of course.
Agreed on all points.
This is part of why I'm obsessed with special colors (such as the Graphite Grey on my 50th), and why if I can help it, I'll only get PTS (for the "keepers"). Granted, my GT2 RS isn't PTS, but I didn't have any choice there (I think there's just a couple PTS 997.2 GT2 RS's worldwide, and none in the US).

It certainly is striking. I do like it, just could never see my self in it. Although I have learned to never say never. I also hear you on the usual silver and black. I actually think on this new car that black whilst beautiful does remove the curves and removes the accents which are actually a feature of the turbo. This time I stepped out of my comfort zone and went agate. I went for the discretion with accents you could say.

I get tired of loud colors quickly. But that's just me.
I meant that a Birch Green car sticks out. If you are going fast in it you are more likely to get a ticket.
I know I had a red F430 for several years.
