[I][/IThis 991 Turbo is my tenth Porsche, and after a while you know how the ride is supposed to be. I have had this one 5 months now, and i have complained several times about a slight shimmy on interstate driving only. Nothing could ever be found. I took my turbo in last Thursday for some software up grades--PCM and one for the instrument cluster, and the service guy said hey: Your Vin pops for WE-16 REPLACING SPORT CLASSIC WHEEL. Apparently some of the turbos wheels were not machined properly.
So, new wheels ordered, waiting. This is slightly costly for Porsche.
It pays to stay up on the campaigns, or at least remember to ask. And to be persistent.
As an aside, this is VIN specific, and I was supposed to get a letter--NOPE
