I am new to this forum, and I am getting ready to order my new TTS cab. I have heard rumors about the new Macan steering wheel (918 style) being an option. Does anyone know or have heard anything about this. I would wait for it if it is true. Thank you for any help.

I believe the German site configurator has the new MY changes already loaded and you can see there this is NOT the case, unfortunately. I heard this option will be held off until the facelift, which is probably the MY after...

Yes it sucks not being able to have the latest steering wheel that is destined to become part of every Macan and gen 2 cayenne due later this year. Crazy given the TTS is the far more expensive flagship. I think the more important question for TTS owners at this stage is will the new style multifunction wheel fit straight on in place of the existing gen 1 multifunction s/w when it becomes available for he TTS.2. I do know that the current cars with the paddle wheel require an entirely different (electronic) column boss to enable the mf s/w to actually work, but will the current electronic boss be the same for the new mf wheel. That is the big Q. If it is then it will be only a matter of swapping the actual s/w itself which won't be such a big deal (i guess).
