Default White 991 turbo

Picked her up last Friday.

First driving impressions compared to my ex 997 TS:

Car feels more planted, the new chassis set up is remarkable. Feels more like my ex Cayman. Very agile and nimble, like if its on rails. While is a heavier car, it feels lighter. Strange. I like the road feel, you can also sense every bump on the road, thus I feel more connected to the car. Since the car is still in break in mode, I haven't push it, but my butt dyno says is as fast as the previous 997 TS.

I also notice the doors are very light, you can open them up with one finger.

The moon roof is great, love it. The light that comes in, adding my light interior, the sensation is like if you are in a tropical beach. The Burmester is great too, better than the Bose, not sure if its 10 times better, but is nice to have it. Sound is crisp and clear. Bass is boomier too. But if you don't have it, I don't think you will miss that much. Maybe I have to fiddle more with the controls.

The alcantara sport wheel is very nice, I am glad I chose it. Its a completely different feel than leather, but adds to my enjoyment. Adds a GT3 feel to the car, minus the 9000 rpm.

Sport design mirrors are very nice, but frankly too small. I have problems looking into the rear side. Visibility is an issue. I have to get used to them.

As far as color, White over white interior, I couldn't be more happier. The car feels roomy inside and luxurious. My last C2S was red inside, and this one I like it 10 times better. Sure, I have to be careful with the leather and jeans, but then again, with some minimal care one can get away with it. Since I am a clean freak, I keep a small wipe underneath my seat and I swipe it every time I can. For sure the only jeans banned are the True Religions, because of the nasty metal button in the back.

Overall, I love this car, and its a keeper. Its an attention grabber wherever you go. Its no ordinary 911 in my opinion. Its a very bright white. Very stealthy, I feel like a rockstar honestly.

PDK amazing, better than the previous generation. Shifts really quick.

As far as exhaust sound, the C2S 991 sounded better inside (can't beat a N/A car), but I don't hear the vacuum cleaner sound anymore, which was a little annoying in my last turbo. This is a more refine sound, and I am pretty sure will go aftermarket here anyway. I also like the burble sound it makes when releasing the pedal.

I also think that swapping some after market headers will improve not only the sound but also make it a bit quicker. Not that the car needs to be quicker, but a little less hesitation down the low range will help a tad. I have the feeling there is quite a bit of restriction here.

Other than that, this car delivers and PAG did a magnificent job !

Great review, love the interior. The power is about the same as the 997.2 TTS based on the dynos from Fabspeed on mine stock.

I read the OP and immediately thought, "Why the heck didn't I order an alcantara wheel?"
Nice car.

Beautiful combination! Haven't seen you around since the Cayman days. If you are still in Miami, try going to Lario's in South Miami this Saturday at 8am for the monthly PCA breakfast so the wife can complain to me why we didn't get the two-tone grey interior too. I ran across a cancelled TT order in December and decided to take delivery then.

Its agate/pebble Interior ...so far no flaws ... Car runs as advertised. Can't wait to every morning and hit the highway! It's the perfect DD.

Very nice. Love the non-typical interior styling. How do you like the Alcantara wheel?

Congrats - drive it in good health.

I had the alcantara wheel/interior on my 997.2 and it wore well.
