Default My idea of Saturday morning ... 991 Turbo S!

... finally driven the 991 Turbo S together with another fellow Rennlist forum member ... amazing performance until 160/170 km/h (compared with 997 GT2 as benchmark), great stability until 180/190 in "sport" mode (car was wearing winter tires so it may improve with proper shoes), didn't really appreciate the difference with sport plus on open road, great comfort, involving exhaust sound, pdk gearbox and steering feel greatly improved compared with the 991 Carrera S, rear steering effect really helpful on the narrow "B" roads.

For the rest, usual problems of this kind of cars: insane top performance means that you really have to drive fast if you want some challenge, which can be quite dangerous given the speed of the "normal" traffic and quite penalising for your driving license and bank account; ridiculous price tag at 210.000 KEuros in the tested car.

We also had the pleasure of being introduced to her naughty sister, but we were not allowed to test drive it ... at least for the moment.

They really jacked up the wheel setup on both of those cars. The TTS should have TTS CL and the GT3 should have GT3 CL. Much more aggressive look on GT3 with proper wheels.

Nice to see the "Trim Strips in High Gloss Finish" option on that Agate Grey

+1 I didn't think the TTS CLs were even the right fitment for the GT3, the offset looks way off in back.

Does sounds like a good Saturday,.....but for the life of me I would never understand why someone would order an Agate on Agate color combination,.....just so boring. I like each on its own, just not together for sure. To each his own I guess.

It's the winter tire fitment, that's all. There have been several pics showing this setup.

Not sure I would have a "winter" tire fitment on a GT3 like I would other cars if I were to live in such climates that require it.

In any case it sure looks "off".

That's exactly the case here.
