Gearbox?
Is there a difference between the 991 gt3 gearbox and the 991 turbo s gearbox. I know there are different types of the pdk and was wondering if they are using the same in both. Thanks

I don't think anyone knows the answer to this yet. Until the cars are tested and reviewed or Porsche reveals more info we won't know.

I found out that the turbo does not have pdk s, which is what I was wondering. SO turbo has regular 911 pdk box and gt3 has a special track oriented pdk.

Hmm that's interesting. Although the turbo is technically not a GT car, you'd think it would have a transmission that's more "S" tuned.

In the May issue of Panorama there is a good article on the GT3 - its PDK is
physically the same as a 991's, however the programming is unique to
the GT3.
