991 Turbo S -- so cool, you can pass illegally!
Of course it's just a closed mile of country road somewhere, but check this video for some "what were they thinking?" footage. Oh, and a look at the 991 Turbo, and 991 Turbo S. Both look pretty good, though still with plastic body trim and a blank where the door mirror would be, that looks cheap on a Pontiac, let alone a Porsche that doesn't leave much change out of $200K. : )

Speaking about 'what were they thinking': I am amazed to see that, after Porsche finally using the 'proper' way of setting up the sequential PDK-box on the gearlever itself (push for down, pull for up) used the GT3, the one on the Turbo (S) is the 'wrong' way around again...

Hopefully the turbo intakes can come painted body color. Prefer the 997 intakes.
I think the car has gotten too wide and lost the 911 shape in the rear.

Yawn...
Looks like someone took to it with the ugly stick before its launch... Disproportionately too wide looking, front is wrong, so is the rear bumper for me.

The 997.2 Turbo S was 530 horse at $161K. Now 560hp at $182K. That's a pretty hefty one year price hike.
The Turbo S Cab will be most of $200K.
Porsche has jumped the shark.

Turbo would seem to be more appealing than the S. It costs materially less, has the 5-lugs and the mirrors look better (IMO). Not sure I care about 40hp and I suspect that if I felt like I was missing it some software could sort me out for $2k and 20 minutes.
