Default Searching for the RIGHT 991.2 turbo S

I found 3 prospects. However, they all have extensive K40 systems. I am struggling with this as I can't understand why anyone would remove bumpers, drill holes, install extensive wiring etc. on these cars.

Removal is not an option.

I am thanking you in advance for sharing any experience or advice.

It’s generally a good option for someone who wants to use a radar detector but doesn’t want it mounted on the windshield, dashboard, or hanging from the sun visor. It’s particularly useful for cabriolets or for people who prefer a stealthy installation. Good installers can put a system into a car with minimal drilling and/or modification to existing components.

I bought a 997 Turbo in the past as a CPO car and the dealership removed the K40 system that the original owner had installed as part of the CPO process. There was no visible sign that it had ever been there. So, they can be removed.

Sounds like an aftermarket exhaust is not in the future for you.

Yup...in my twenties it was all about swapping out amber turn signals, etc. Now it's about factory fresh, factory original.
