Default 2026 Turbo S or 2026 ZR1X

If you can get one plus ADM of let's say $25-50k, 2026 TurboS MSRP of $272 and ZR1X for $207, I'm leaning towards the Z

If that was the only 2 absolute choices and I could only have one ride,,,,,,,,,,TTS hands down, That said, I would not trade my 2019 TTS for a ZR1x , 992,1 or 992.2 due to all of the in cabin changes.....I would add a ZR1 to the 991,2 TTS for variety though,,,,...Brute POWAH

I stopped living life a quarter mile at a time after my 20s.

I want a car that’s comfortable, has heritage, looks great, it’s elegant and it’s understated and fast as hell.

Only one of those two checks those boxes.

If all I cared was about quarter mile times and proving my worth with 60-130 times and street racing then I’d probably get the Vette.

Tough choice. I would let the dust settle and see how they sort themselves out. The battery/hybrid stuff is a bit of a unknown for me on both cars. Right now if I had to choose zr1x just because tuning is already unlocked and no car I keep stays stock.

Obviously not a ZR1X but I just picked up an ERay. There are things I appreciate about it relative to my 991.1 TTS and my 718 Spyder. It is more comfortable. It drives so nicely. But it does not exude timeless class. In 10 years the Porsches will still look beautiful. The ERay, well, it'll still look green I suppose.

i would add the vette either zr1 or z06. i'm not a fan of zr1x. i drove c8 zr1 recently and decided to buy one.

911 wasn't always the asset class it has become. it was used and thrown, just like the current bmw's and vettes. who knows if that will continue. new 992TT isn't worth the asking price IMHO.

vette is more comfortable, faster, and cheaper. corners just as well as gt3rs according to many reputable reviewers. it's time to admit porsche has work to do, and chevy is currently manufacturing the superior street car at a cheaper price point.

i hate the c8 rear, but it doesn't matter for me since i don't see it when i'm driving it.

The new Corvette is super-compelling though I would be eyeballing the more "pure" ZR1, not the 'X'.

I'm not a fan of Porsche's design direction with the 992 though I wish the Corvette was more 458 Italia and less origami box fan. At least the interior has been re-done for 2026.

On the street their power/performance levels don't really matter. But that flat-plane TT V8 is unlawfully drool-worthy.

I wouldn't trade my 991.2 for a ZR1/ZR1X. I might add one just for fun, but it wouldn't be the daily driver, do-everything workhorse that my 911 is. And they're even heavier somehow.

That's what I like about my car, it looks understated and elegant while retaining the traditional analog dash. An iron fist in a velvet glove. I wouldn't trade for a 992, either.

Chevy really hit it out of the park with the new Vette...There is just something about my Turbo S...when I get out to go into a store or something, i always look back at it and just smile on the inside.

Everyone bitches about the c8 looks and yes there are some design elements that dont do it any favors at all; and while the 911 does look 'cleaner' but between those choices... with my own money? Yah I'd take the chevy, make mine HTC please.
Porsche is still porsche of course but I"m not seeing the additional value at the increased pricing.

The ZR1 can still be beaten by the pesky PITA Plaid at the dragstrip, but not the X, if you do a ton of quarter-mile runs.

Drop the Cats on the lowly ZR1 and it runs 154mph in the 1/4. That should handle the Plaid if it hooks.

My 991.2 TTS is a long term car. And I've paired it with a 488 Spider. Planning on moving that to make way for an SF90. I'd like to stick with the original. The corvette is nice and I respect it but give me the Ferrari.
