Swapped the steering column casing takes all of 10 minutes and the steering wheel does not have to come off. Such a small subtle change but just makes me feel much better about being in the driver seat.

Better picture of the new steering wheel setup. I didn’t mind the aesthetics of the silver trim with black screws but the buttons are always black with either silver trim with black screws or all black typically without the visible screws. Decided going all black was a cleaner more modern look. Original wheel was the GT sport 360mm without Multi Function buttons. Silver spoke trim and OEM silver paddles. OEM Plastic steering column casing.

After same GT sport 360mm wheel. Autotecknic Black RS paddles. OEM black leather with Bordeaux stitched steering column casing. OEM black multi function buttons with black trim.

I like that, looks very good.

I was thinking about going with a thicker steering wheel.

Slowly but surely coming along. Wheels and mps4s mounted ready to be picked up. Painted gt3rs side skirts back from getting painted gloss black. Once I find some time to pick the wheels up and install the skirts back to detail shop for PPF on the skirts. Then back home for me to put the eibachs on. Also ordered OEM black leather with deviated Bordeaux stitching inner door sills and center dash sport chrono cover. That should be all for the leather wrapped pieces i want.

Finally had some free time. Gt3rs side skirts installed along with the Motorsport gold apex vs5rs wheels. Went with 255/35/20 and 315/30/20 Michelin pilot sport 4s tires

Welcome back! Nice car…..where did you source the leather steering column part, cost? Didn’t think it would be an easy upgrade, but If only 10 minutes, time to do it)

Added information - $1885 from Suncoast and no catalogue available at the moment at "Exclusive Option" company.

There are YouTube videos on installation - does look simple....

I'll second that. Should have been done by default.

Some more leather wrapped bits. OEM
sport chrono cover wrapped in black Napa leather with deviated Bordeaux stitching. Still waiting on inner door sills in leather.

so i found an ebay vendor autoparts8888. they use OEM parts and wrap them whatever material and stitching you want. i was a bit skeptical given i thought the prices were very reasonable. very responsive over the ebay chat function. i ordered the steering column first. and now went ahead with the inner door sills and the sport chrono clock cover. would highly recommend them. they are based in china and i was very skeptical but turns out i've gotten pieces that are of OEM quality using OEM parts. if they don't have something you want you can message them and they'll likely have it and you can request it to be made. shipping takes about 7-10 calendar days to receive but comes EXTREMELY well packaged.

Very nice...and nice upgrades. I have to admit, i've never seen an ignition switch like that...looks really cool.

More leather parts. Inner door sills. Black Napa leather with deviated Bordeaux stitching. Have OEM Alcantara sun visors without the stupid airbag stickers on the way.
