Default Disabling Front Active Aero

I know this has been asked before but they were older threads without a definitive answer.
I wonder if there’s a way to disable the active aero (inflatable) front lip in a 991.2 turbo S.

I know they can be very expensive to repair if damaged and I was wondering if there’s a way to disable just the front.

Yes, I’m aware that can throw off the aerodynamics of the car at much higher speeds but I’m not out there hitting 160+.

Lastly, is there any fixed add-on front lip options out there?

You can but it will disable the rear as well, all or nothing unfortunately.

Actually, the front lip can be coded out without impacting the rear: Rear BCM module: Ausstattung Bug-Spoiler verbaut: nein

This will tell the car it doesn’t have a front lip, and so it won’t deploy when you push the spoiler button

Thank you. Is this something the dealer does through PIWIS?

That's what the dealer told me too, when my front one gives up, this is what I will be doing.

You can get the front lip coded out and the rear wing will work as it should. I know because I had it done. Got tired of my front lip failing. So I had it coded out, best decision I ever made. My rear wing works as it always did.
