Was driving home after work today. I decided to switch from a USB source to CD (yes, I'm old) and the audio went out. The track on the CD was playing but there was no sound. The volume wasn't muted. I went back to the USB source and no sound there either.
If I switched the source to the Tuner the audio was normal.
I tried muting and unmuting; no effect.
I pressed the volume button long enough for the screen to go off. Then pressed it again to turn the unit on; still no sound.
At home I turned off the ignition, waited a while, then back on; no effect.
Hoping for an easy factory reset I pressed the volume **** for what must have been 45-sec or more. I saw the lighting behind the buttons change and released the button. The Porsche crest logo appeared, followed by the "Turbo" silhouette and then the normal PCM display after which I had sound again for the CD and USB media sources. Anyone else experience this?
