Methanol Injected Cars
#6
All cars, and turbo cars have even more blow by. The fact that there is much more fuel put in methanol will get by and dilute oil for sure. In addition I think it gets worse on liftoff as I dont believe the snow performance injectors control that quickly the flow which puts excess methanol.
I think with these cars at high boost need more frequent oil changes and heavier oils.
i dont have any oil analysis but would be nice if someone has some facts.
cheers

Here you go, Stage4 992 TTS with 100% meth inj. Lamda around 0.83. I think this oil had around 4000-4500km on it.
2.5% fuel in the oil which is starting to drop the viscosity a bit.
(the first sample is break in oil with around 3500km on it)

2.5% does not seem bad! but I have a 2014 991.1 with 85k miles on it. Probably a bit more blow by!
which tuning software/ecu do you use?
