It likely didn't cross your mind at the time, from what I could find online, they aren't looking too pricey, but it's probably another part that pops up as "ok, if I had known, I should have done that while I was in there" type of thing.
I apologize for not fully explaining:

On the first install attempt I was told that the OE 380mm iron dust shields would interfere with the RB CCB rotors and subsequently that the calipers on the car wouldn't work etc. I had them re-assemble the OE brakes and regrouped.

I ordered the PCCB calipers, brackets, fasteners, dust shields from and rear and a number of pipes and hoses to try to cover all the bases for the next install attempt. All went well except the dust shields again: Even the new front OE PCCB dust shields interfered in the places shown and had to be modified. The rear shields were fine (even the OE 380mm ones) but the fronts were no bueno. I think the inner radius of the RB CC rotor must be smaller than the Porsche rotors; where the lip on the shield ducks inside the OE rotor there's ceramic there on the RB rotors:

My apology as well, I may have misunderstood.
At least you made it happen with a little fab work.
I look forward to your longer term review, I think it's a great option to have.
