Please help! I have been enjoying my 991.1 Turbo S for the past three years, 20,000 miles on the odometer. Two weeks ago, the car threw a bunch of codes and went into limp mode. The codes indicate the high pressure fuel pump is bad. I have been quoted $5000 for the part replacement, but that's not the bad news. There doesn't seem to be any dealer or part's house in the nation that has one. The frustrating part is no Porsche dealer has any information when this part might become available. I have been told six weeks to six months. Can anybody chime in if you have any current information about this part. I sincerely apologize if this has been covered on the forum. I know the car is over eight years old. Is it possible that Porsche is making any offer to rectify this situation? Codes thrown P1023, P1026, P1036, PO53E, sound like a high pressure fuel pump? Thanks in advance for any input on this matter.
