I would NOT recommend Zunsports for 991.2 TT cars with painted AeroKit + ACC
- Above optioned cars do not have rough plastic in the center grill which causes Zunsports grills to rest directly on paint
- If you have painted center fins like I do, Zunsport directly pushes against them and will 100% scratch / damage them. I covered mine with gaffing type prior to install even though they all have PPF
- I am not impressed with fit and finish at all
- I will be taking them off shorty as they will cause more harm than good in my case.
Here are some pics for clarification, I can take more if needed and I would be happy to answer any questions.
Really disappointing that both Rennline and Zunsport take so long to get a decent design for the 991.2 center radiator grill with ACC. There's enough feedback here on Rennlist for them to incorporate product improvements. After all, it's not rocket science!
Rennline, modify your design to cut out an area for the ACC.
Zunsport. Figure out a way so the grill can be placed behind the center grill and not rest on and effect the painted areas.

Good points!
I went with Rennline because the grills are set on the backside of the fins. The front bumper doesn't look too hard to remove for the install. Plus, I don't have ACC to worry about.
I used radiator grille store and I am not impressed.
Yes you don’t have to take off the bumper, but the center piece (with ACC) seems like it is designed for a different car.
There are large gaps on the sides. The instruction video is from a 997.2 and they instruct you you reach in the front bumper from the side radiators to get proper placement, however, on a 991.1 turbo S you aren’t able to reach your hand in from the side.
Going on my first roadtrip next weekend (with Porsche Car Club) and wanted to get this area protected prior to the trip.
I am hoping to return the center grille next week as it is useless.
I reached out the “the radiator grille store” about the poor fit of the center grille and they sent me their new, redesigned grille.
I didn’t have time to install it this weekend, but held it up to the opening and it will be a much better fit than the previous grille I received. (The original grille I couldn’t get to fit at all, even tried to pay a shop to do it and they had no luck).
I will keep this thread updated, as if the fit is good, it would appear to be a great option for those that don’t want to remove their front bumpers.
(Leaving for vacation on Friday, so I likely won’t have an update for a few weeks).

I wonder if the new center grille cover had been very recently designed. Just a few weeks ago when I checked with the radiator grille store, a center grille wasn't even listed, only the outside grille covers.

New one came out about a week ago. I am not sure if it is on the website yet or not…
Thanks to all. This was a very useful thread for me in making the decision about the best overall choice for my recently acquired 991.1 TTS. I just now ordered the Zunsport full set in black because it appears to be the best overall solution for the 991.1 Turbo S.
Received my 991.1 TTS Zunsport, 7-piece radiator grille kit, which arrived from the UK to US east coast via FedEx in 3 days. I installed them last night, and am extremely happy with the look. It really cleaned up and modernized the nose of my well-used 45K mile car, and does a great job of hiding the expected radiator "rash" in a car that's actually been driven and enjoyed a lot.

What I liked about Rennline over the Zunsport is the center screen on the Rennline also installs behind the center fins.

What I like most about the Zunsport over the Rennline for my particular car was:
1) I didn't have to remove the nose, and mess with the retractable spoiler mounts and plumbing;
2) On the 991.1 Turbo S, I think it looks better and more finished because the Zunsports fit slush at the rear edge of the plastic inserts, which line all the nose openings. 90% of the fins are still in front of the grilles. Because of the OEM plastic inserts, there's no danger of paint scratching.
I haven't examined a 991.2, which may be different. To me, it looks like a neater install on the 991.1 than the Rennlines would have been.
