Default Headliner

Hi. My new to me 2015 had the headliner dropped about 3/4” just in the back where it meets the rear window. It was visible from the back of the car while looking in. Upon inspection it looks like the 3 anchor points are using dual lock Velcro. The middle one had one side detach from the mounting point. Does anyone know if this is how the factory designed attachment? I pushed back on the anchor points and it seems ok for now. Thanks

Post #125 (Page 9) of this epic thread - https://rennlist.com/forums/991/1308...-interior.html - has some pics of how the headliner is held up in the back and what might have failed.

(As an aside, that really is a great thread on all of the various rattles our 991-gen cars are often plagued with. AFAIK nothing similar exists in this Turbo specific forum.)

Thanks for the link! I tried google and YouTube searches and could not find that info when 911 or 991.1 headliner was the search term. I’ll try the solution tomorrow.
